Silicone plasticine

This silicone plasticine is a platinum cure two-component paste that allows you to easily and quickly take samples from any surface.

It is widely used for sampling in human and animal orthopaedics and horseshoe correction.

You can apply for jewellery moulding.

The main technical characteristics of the hardened silicone:

• Approx. 40 Shore A hardness
• Pot life: 30 minutes
• Curing time: 5 hours
• Elongation at break: 430%
• Density: 1.25 g / cm3
• Tear resistance: 24.5 N / mm

It can also withstand high temperatures so that you can cast low melting point metals with them.

It is also food-safe for culinary use.

Plasticine was developed for manual use. If gloves are used for kneading (although unnecessary), they should be made of vinyl rubber.

Attention: Latex gloves can prevent hardening!
