Aluminium Powder, 0.06 mm, 100g

aluminium powder is applied as an additive for two main reasons in the prototype and product manufacturing.

For functional reasons: since aluminium is a good heat conductor, it is used as a thermal conductor for certain plastic moulds to stabilise the desired temperature. Several resins must be cast and kept in the mould at a constant temperature to achieve the desired technical characteristics.

For aesthetic reason: Aluminium blended, e.g. with Art Clay or epoxy resin, gives a metallic, silvery, and patina shine to the product. You can also make a product with an aluminium additive that imitates metal objects. E.g. knives, daggers, swords, and weapons.
